Beth’s Blog & I

I recently made contact with one of my social media heroines Beth Kanter, of Beth’s Blog fame, which was happy news indeed. So imagine my joy when I found myself featured on those very pages yesterday.

If for some crazy reason you don’t know who Beth is, you owe it to yourself to check out her amazing blog, where you’ll find not only some of the best screencasting on the planet, but also a great resource for anyone looking to put social media to use in the non-profit sector (and beyond).

Beth has tirelessly put together some really useful resources, especially for anyone looking to get their feet wet in screencasting, low bandwidth budget video blogging (in Cambodia), or several of the other great new technologies changing how we interact and express ourselves. I highly recommend checking out her awesome wiki, which features these things and a whole lot more. When you’ve checked out the blog first, that is.

Right now she is heading over to Cambodia on a mission to bring equipment and training to Cambodia’s bloggers, and kickstart the video-blogging revolution over there. Inspiring stuff.
